Tagline: Beautiful. Seductive. Deadly.
Synopsis: “Residents of a coastal town learn, with deathly consequences, the secret shared by the two mysterious women who have sought shelter at a local resort.” source
Full disclosure: I love vampires. Often I cite zombies as my favorite horror genre, but when I look at my ratings on IMDb, vampire movies actually rank higher; make of that what you will. Now, as to why vampires stir my Kool-Aid, I’m not sure…. Maybe it’s the idea of immortality? Or maybe it’s the allure of something dangerous and deadly?
I chose BYZANTIUM for several reasons; first of which was Eleanor and Clara — their bond, the differences in their character, the mystery of their history together. Okay, okay. Another big reason was Eleanor and Frank. But keep that to yourself — I can be a real sucker (HA!) for a tragic love story.

What’s your favorite vampire movie?
This was a great movie! I too have a thing for vampires. There’s a reason Anne Rice is my favorite author, and Dracula remains one of my favorite books (have read three times, and will read it again…and again)…I LOVE vampires. It was hard to pick a favorite in this category. 🙂
