Tagline: Some lines shouldn’t be crossed.
Synopsis: “Five medical students experiment with “near death” experiences, until the dark consequences of past tragedies begin to jeopardize their lives.” source
Gorgeous hair in every shot. Medical students pushing (and crossing) ethical boundaries. Near-dear experiences. Facing one’s darkest secrets – being a bully; survivor’s guilt; being a liar and a cheat. Fodder for a good medical horror film.
I love Kiefer Sutherland, especially 80s / 90s Kiefer, and he doesn’t disappoint in FLATLINERS. His “this is a good day to die” line — classic!

This was a good one. The remake didn’t quite live up to the original. I mean, hard to beat the original cast, right? Bacon, Sutherland, Roberts, Platt. I’ve seen this one many, many times.
Here’s my medical horror choice: https://castlemacabre.blogspot.com/2019/10/30-day-horror-movie-challenge-medical.html
I enjoyed the original a lot. Great choice. The updated version did not work for me at all.
