30-Day Horror Movie Challenge: Day 25 – Used to Hate But Now Like…

movie poster Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter 2012

Tagline: President by day. Hunter by night.

Synopsis: “Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, discovers vampires are planning to take over the United States. He makes it his mission to eliminate them.” source

I don’t have an answer for today’s prompt. Mainly because I rarely, if ever, change my mind about a movie after I watch it.

Instead, I selected a movie I expected to hate, but ended up liking, ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER. On paper it sounds like a total cheese fest. Surprisingly, I thought it had depth; you know, underneath the vampires and using horses as weapons. šŸ™ƒ

  1. I’ve found that sometimes if I watch a movie a second time, I end up liking it, or at least liking it more than I did (the case in my blog post for this category). One movie I haven’t tested that theory out on yet is Mother! I hated that movie. I do plan to watch again, just to see, but dragging my feet…don’t know if I can take watching it again.

I really like your choice for this one. I read half of the book before seeing the movie, but then didn’t go back to it. I plan to at some point. What I read of the book was good though, and the movie was good as well. I love the actor who portrayed Abe. šŸ™‚
