Where did December go?!!

I managed to complete my reading challenges for 2019 **and** still have time to binge season one of The Witcher on Netflix. (Hey! It’s only 8 episodes!) O’course now I have to read ALL the books to hold myself over till Season 2 is released. And this song is stuck in my head, which I belt out at totally random moments. #SorryNotSorry It’s catchy as hell!

Book of the Month: Unraveling by Karen Lord

I loved Redemption in Indigo so it was fun to see Paama, Chance and Trickster again. Though, Unraveling is more complicated, like its characters’ labyrinths and mazes. You should read this if you like: all things timey wimey; exploring memory’s power, vulnerability and impermanence; themes of chaos, time, redemption.

Synopsis: “In this standalone fantasy novel by an award-winning author, the dark truth behind a string of unusual murders leads to an otherworldly exploration of spirits, myth, and memory, steeped in Caribbean storytelling.”
